San Diego Whale Watching: January 7th, 2019

What’s not to love about January in San Diego? It was another gorgeous sunny day with a high of 64 degrees. We got to see a tug boat in the channel. In addition, we got a really close view of some dolphins that are apart of the Naval dolphin program. Did you know that the Navy trains dolphins? Dolphins possess the most sophisticated sonar known to science, so it’s no wonder they play a crucial part in our naval defense. You can read a bit more about it by clicking here.

We had the great pleasure of finding a total of 5 gray whales today! They were all heading south, towards Baja.
