As the world navigates the COVID-19 pandemic, it is so important to keep your stress levels low. One idea is to go outside and exercise. The fresh air can do wonders for your mental health and also help your kids stay calm. There are so many places in San Diego where you can walk on the beach, go for a bike ride, hike, or even go for a long run. Be sure to stay safe and healthy by wearing your mask whenever you are outside and maintain a distance of at least six feet from other people.

Yacht America Deck

A fantastic outdoor activity is to go whale watching with Next Level Sailing. Our boat, the Yacht America, is a 139 ft racing schooner. Since our deck is outside, there is plenty of fresh ocean air surrounding you at all times. What air could be better? With the sunshine on your face and wind in your hair, it will really feel like a breath of fresh air to be out on the water. Prior to COVID-19, we were already known as the most spacious and luxurious vessel for whale watching. With our new set of safety protocols, our capacity will be further reduced allowing for plenty of space for social distancing. In addition, all of our seats are outside. You will have fresh air surrounding you during your entire voyage.

 

In light of COVID-19, we have implemented enhanced protocols to keep everyone safe:

  • Masks are required for all guests
  • Capacities have been significantly reduced in order to provide ample social distancing
  • Employees will be wearing masks and gloves at all times
  • Employees will be screened upon arrival onsite
  • Reservations only. Reservations can be made up to 30 minute prior to departure time
  • All check-in procedures are touchless, voyage is touchless, and disembarking is also touchless
  • 6′ stickers will be placed on the dock so the guidelines are clear during the boarding process
  • 6′ stickers will be placed on the deck of the vessel
  • Enhanced sanitation of high touch areas
  • Scheduled sanitation of restroom
  • All seating is outside in the open air
  • Abundant supply of wipes & hand sanitizer available throughout the voyage

Right now, we are seeing humpback whales! We will be seeing gray whales any day now, so book now to get your tickets. We are also seeing large pods of dolphins. This is a great adventure for families and couples alike as it appeals to all ages. Children especially like our tour as there is something to see during the entire trip.
