January 19 – Jill and Jay joined us today for their sixth trip with us and it was another perfect day.
Every trip is so unique and today was a great example with two grey whales just as we left San Diego Bay. It started with one whale spy hopping, a behavior where a whale raises their head and eyes out of the water high enough for a quick look at us.

January 16 – Althought we saw several different whales today, we focused our time with one pair that stopped to mate.

January 13 – We started with a pair today and finished with 3 adults with one whale breaching 3 times!
Our guest today, Mike Curiel, captured our pair which we spotted as soon as we sailed past Pt.Loma. Conditions remain outstanding with a record number of whale stightings with blue skies and flat seas. Towards the end of our day we spotted threes whales just west of Pt. Loma.
