How to Pack for a Whale Watching Trip (In a Pandemic)
During trying times, it is important to invest in self-care, both mentally and physically. Look for opportunities in which you can get outside, safely socialize and connect with nature. Here at Next Level Sailing, we are happy to be able to provide a safe place to do just that. If you are interested in joining us on a whale watching trip during the pandemic, please read on to learn of new regulations so you can come prepared.
Bring Your Layers
Due to the pandemic, we are unable to provide our guests with our usual blankets. That being said, we encourage you to bring your own! There may be times in which you are in a shaded area or the wind has picked up and extra layers will be needed. As well, don’t underestimate the temperature. Although it may be 80 degrees on the land, the temperature will feel far chillier once you are out at sea.
Bring Your Own Picnic & Drinks
During this time, we can provide you with free water, soda, chips, and granola bars. However, please feel free to bring your own personal picnic! Depending on the day, we may be out at sea longer than expected. Having your own food with you just in case is always a good option. All we ask is that you please avoid bringing red wine.
Bring Your Mask
Upon entering the marina, it will be required that you are wearing your mask. Please do not forget this! We unfortunately won’t be able to allow passengers on board without them.
Bring your camera to take pictures of all these wonderful memories despite the pandemic!
Enjoying life and making memories are always a necessity, even during a pandemic! Take advantage of this joyous day at sea and take as many pictures as you can! These images will bring you happiness even in the months to come. We promise that your whale watching adventure will be worth it.
