Excitement building for America’s Cup in San Francisco
America’s Cup Event Authority CEO, Stephen Barclay today posted very encouraging comments on the AC web site….referencing feedback of the spectacle of these new 72 ft catamarans as they practice very close to the San Francisco waterfront. Emphasis of the post is that if these huge yachts look so amazing now as they practice alone, then it will be an outstanding experience to see them racing side by side and very close to each other and the spectator audience. Next Level Sailing’s yacht ‘America’ will be there as a VIP spectator yacht to view the racing. The official sources predict that the ‘Artemis Racing’ yacht will join the racing by late July.
