You might even see the racing legend, Dennis Connor skipper his own boat during these fun local races. There is always a party after the race, so you can meet up with our salty locals and share in the racing glory. Tell them you were on the Yacht America, I bet they will ask how she sails!

What to expect: Cruise around the San Diego Bay, watch the Beer Can Race, learn about sailing, history of the Yacht America and the America’s Cup | On June 6th we will offer a drop off at Bali Hai so you can instantly be a part of the post-race celebration.
Parking:
When possible, we recommend using Uber or Lyft. If driving, use the following address for your navigation app: Maritime Museum of San Diego. There is metered parking at the museum available for 3 hours, this is enforced until 8:00 PM. If you have a Handicap Parking Permit, the metered parking is free and there is no time limit. Free public parking is available on Pacific Hwy (one block to the east), Grape Street or Hawthorne. Paid parking lots are available, the closest is on Ash Street. The following app, www.parkme.com is very helpful.
