VIP suite on San Diego bay at America’s Cup World Series

How is this for a cool corporate entertaining opportunity. I would say that there hasn’t been a VIP opportunity like this in San Diego since the Super Bowl of 2003. Even though the 2 Oracle AC45 catamarans practiced on San Francisco bay for a couple of weeks and got lots of attention, it’s on San Diego bay during the 9 days of November 12 to 20 that the American public will witness the high speed thrills of all 10 teams of the new America’s Cup World Series together for the very first time.

That’s right! San Diego is the first US venue for these very fast and exciting 45 Ft Hard Wing Sail Catamarans as they compete in head-to-head, one-on-one match races as well as the fleet races involving all 10 yachts. San Diego bay is pretty small particularly when compared to San Francisco, and these yachts are very fast. At the speed they race there won’t be much time between tacks on our narrow bay. It’s actually the perfect scenario so long as they all remain safe, as the intention is to get the public to the waterfront to see the action. Whether you are sitting on the grass on the shore or lucky enough to be an invited guest on our yacht America, you can be sure that these cats will come screaming by almost close enough to touch. If you blink you might miss something really exciting. This will be an awesome 9 days of world class America’s Cup action.
