This 2,500 sq ft Pink Mainsail will be catching the San Diego wind, fully supporting our women and men affected by breast cancer. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has the greatest impact to save lives and ensures no one faces breast cancer alone. From research to education, prevention to diagnosis, and treatment to recovery, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer supports everyone impacted by breast cancer. They can’t do it alone. We need YOUR help!

WHAT YOUNITES US, IGNITES US! Set sail aboard the Yacht America this October for a once in a lifetime opportunity to sail under the largest “Pink Mainsail” in the world. Thanks to our friends and partners at Cabrillo Credit Union, we will be hoisting a Pink Mainsail every time we set sail this October. In addition, a portion of our proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society in support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

There are over 25,000 walkers who come out each fall to raise awareness and funds to save lives from Breast Cancer. Across the nation last year, more than 200 events raised more than $60 million to save lives from breast cancer. Making Strides is about bringing the community together to take action in order to fund breast cancer research and support the American Cancer Society. Show your support by sailing aboard the Yacht America this October. We can’t do this without YOU!

‘No Sea Sickness’ Guarantee
We want you to get out there which is why we offer the world’s only no sickness guarantee. If you lose your lunch we’ll replace it with a $25 gift certificate. No guest has ever experienced sea sickness in our 13 year history of sailing on San Diego Bay. We can make this offer because America is a very stable yacht. So get out there!
Every guest can also enjoy free admission to the San Diego Maritime Museum. So come early or stay after the trip and enjoy the exhibits and ships, including the Star of India.
We are the greenest operator in San Diego. We go sails up on every trip. We typically motor-sail as we leave the San Diego Bay and then just sail on our return. As such, we consumed less than 1,000 gallons of fuel all of last season. By comparison, one vessel in San Diego’s whale watching fleet consumes over 100 gallons an hour! Our auxiliary engines are the latest generation EPA Tier-3 John Deere 6068AFM85 with the highest tier rating available.***
