Corporate team building ‘alive & well’

San Diego Corporate group heading out for team building

Friday 27th saw yet another corporate group getting into some America’s Cup racing with us as a very unique way to get employees and business partners together. A local San Diego high tech networking company enjoyed a picture perfect San Diego day to take 30 folks out on both yachts ‘Stars & Stripes’ and ‘Abracadabra’. A quick box lunch at the dock set the scene for a few beers loaded on board and two groups of 15 per yacht heading out to learn a little about sailing, but more importantly to spend quality time together in an active, hands-on environment.

The great thing about ‘sailing’ for a team building exercise is that you have a “captive audience”. Guests are contained…as such….in a working environment that they cannot leave. This essentially forces folks to spend time together, get to know each other better and the like.
